On April 26, the World Intellectual Property
Day, the special seminar of “Creating famous brands, promoting transformation
and development” and the special seminar of “Improving life quality by means of
intellectual property” were held under the co-leadership of the Economic
Service Bureau of the New Area and the Municipal Supervision Committee
Guangming Branch at the conference hall of TK Holdings Science & Technology
Industrial Park. At the seminar, fifteen excellent enterprises which had made
outstanding achievements in the brand building in the New Area had been granted
an award respectively. The conference was attended by more than 100
representatives from all relevant representative offices and enterprises.
This conference was held as per the requirement
of the 13th Five-year Plan of the Quality Development of Shenzhen
Municipality, in a bid to create the Standard International and Innovative
City. It strived to step up the breakthroughs of frontier technologies, realize
the online and offline unified supervision in the production and distribution
which feature “two-way traceability,” explore the quality GDP accounting
system, and create the quality-driven and connotative new development benchmark
for Chinese cities.
A total of 100
outstanding enterprises in the New Area attended this conference. At the
invitation of the organizer, Wu Li, Executive Vice Chairman and
Secretary-general of Federation of Shenzhen Industries, Wang Zhaowen, counselor
of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and Executive Chairman of Federation
of Shenzhen Industries, Mr. Rance P.L. Lee, Chairman of the General Chamber of
Commerce of Guangming New Area and President of TK Holdings, and Mr. Zhang Fanghua,
Executive Director of TK Holdings attended this conference. At the opening, Mr.
Rance P.L. Lee delivered a speech to welcome the visit of the representatives
of the government, associations and enterprises, and gave high comment on the government’s advocacy of quality development. President Li pointed out
that science and technology was advancing, indicating that lots of enterprises
and industries were in the shrinkage or decline, and that low-technology
enterprises were exposed to the risk of being driven out of the market. Therefore,
enterprises should have the capabilities of insight, investigation, dealing
with changes and enhancement so as to avoid being weeded out in the market.
Also, he expounded how TK Holdings cope with the changes of the external and
internal environment of the Company. Finally, he pointed out that there was no
difference between high technology and low technology in terms of products, but
the distinctions between low technology and high technology in terms of
production means.
