20 April 2016On 20 April 2016, Mr. Yung, the chief executive officer of the TK Group, Mr. Lu, the general manager of the mold plant, [Engineer Chao] and [Engineer An], the responsible persons of the technology department of both mold and plastic injection, undertook a site visit to the State Key Laboratory of Plastic Injection Mold of the School of Materials at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Laboratory members, including academician Li Dequn, an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering of the Key Laboratory and an instructor of doctorate students, Professor [Zhou Huamin], chief officer of the Key Laboratory and the Changjiang Scholar, and Dr. [Huang Zhigao], attached great importance to this communication and integration between the enterprise and academy.

They visited the common test platform of the laboratory, laboratory of smart molding and laboratory of 3D print and 3D measurement. Mr. Yung had high praise for the micro qualitative and quantitative analysis capacity of the laboratory equipment. He eagerly hoped that in the field of TK high-end plastic injection mold manufacturing and molding, the theoretical research and experimental test solutions of the key laboratory can help TK to break through technical bottlenecks during the technological research and development process. Both parties reviewed the previous cooperation regarding the secondary development of UG software, 3D print technology and smart molding. They also decided the future communication and cooperation in the following four fields: 1. Cooperation on the common test platform (for example, joint stretch stress test, metallographical structure test and material component test); 2. Cooperation on the research and development of flexible polishing unit (for example, joint development of plasma polishing technology, research and development cooperation on relevant technologies relating to the flexible polishing technology and expandable fields); 3.
